Where We Stand

We are committed to supporting brands that are purpose-driven, socially responsible, and that support regenerative farming. We truly believe that in doing this work, we are contributing to a future that sees every single person on planet Earth fed with healthy, sustainable and delicious food. We want to hear from you if that's where you stand, too.

According to Ambassador Ertharin Cousin, President and Co-Founder of Food Systems for the Future, “This is the biggest opportunity in food since the agricultural revolution. We need to build a possible future where a just food system meets the health needs of our entire global population and provides a lucrative financial return for all stakeholders—from the woman smallholder farmer to the multinational asset managers and commercial bankers.” Well said. Let's do this.

Our Purpose

Ethical Food Group encourages social change. We don't just want to stock shelves with sustainable (and tasty) options. We want to change the way people think about food—consuming it, buying it, making it—we want everyone to question the whole food industry and how we got here. We want to encourage people to find everyday solutions that consider the planet, the people who live here, and what we're leaving for future generations.

As a purpose-based brand, our goal is to help other purpose-based brands. The ones who want to make a difference in the way food is grown and consumed. The ones who want to create a longer-lasting food ecosystem. The ones who think like we do about the future of this planet.

Join us. The world needs you.

Our Definition of Ethical

There’s all sorts of amazing ways people, businesses, and governments are making our food system better—sustainable practices, lowering environmental impact, carbon offsets/sequestration, improving food security, traceable ingredients, social-impact initiatives, and regenerative farming—to name a few. We bring all of these actions together into one, inclusive word: ethical.

It is a holistic way of talking about a deep commitment to food-making that is good for people and the planet.
